Hootworthy or Not?
🦉 Owl Be Reading Review: The Sign of the Sinister Sorcerer by Brad Strickland 📚 Hoot Factor – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (9/10) This book had a mysterious, magical story that I really enjoyed. I didn’t love all of the illustrations, but luckily there weren’t too many. Rose Rita is such a great character—she’s strong, clever, and brave, which made her one of my favourites. And Mrs Zimmerman? Wow. She’s incredibly powerful and always knows just what to say—super articulate! The story had just the right amount of spookiness too. 🎨 Owl-some Illustrations – ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The pictures weren’t really my thing, but I was glad they didn’t pop up too often so I could stay focused on the story. 💡 Little Owl’s Takeaway – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Girls can be strong, smart, and full of magic! I loved seeing female characters take the lead and show courage and wisdom. 💬 Hoot or Boot? – 4.5/5 Hoots – Magical and mysterious with powerful female characters. A spooky adventure I’d recommend!
