Owl Be Reading – Community Rules 🦉
Welcome to the Owl Be Reading community – a cosy corner where imaginations take flight, and young readers are always welcome. To keep things safe, kind, and full of wonder, we ask that all members – big and small – follow these simple guidelines:
1. Be Kind and Respectful
Treat others the way you’d like to be treated. Whether you're chatting, sharing a book review, or joining in on a reading challenge, kindness always comes first.
2. Keep It Safe
Never share personal information like your full name, address, phone number, school, or passwords. If you’re unsure about something, ask a trusted adult for help.
3. Parental Consent for Children Under 13
If you're under 13 and would like to sign up to the Owl Be Reading newsletter, we’ll also need your parent or guardian’s email address so they can see what you receive and help you stay safe online. 📧
4. No Bullying or Mean Comments
We’re all here to enjoy stories, make friends, and learn together. Bullying, teasing, or making others feel unwelcome won’t be allowed.
5. Share Thoughtfully
Feel free to share book reviews, drawings, or ideas – just make sure they’re your own work and suitable for a family-friendly audience.
6. Have Fun and Explore Books!
Reading should be magical. Join events, try new genres, and don’t be afraid to ask questions or recommend your favourites!
📚 Owl Be Reading is a nest of creativity and curiosity. Let’s keep it bright, brave, and brilliant – together. ❤️
