Hootworthy or Not?
🦉 Owl Be Reading Review: Sherlock Holmes: The Lion’s Mane by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Stephanie Baudet 📚 Hoot Factor – ⭐⭐⭐ The story was interesting, but it was very short. I wish there was more to it! 🎨 Owl-some Illustrations – ⭐⭐⭐ There were quite a few pictures, but I would have preferred more story instead. 💡 Little Owl’s Takeaway – ⭐⭐⭐ This book made me even more excited to read the original Sherlock Holmes stories! 💬 Hoot or Boot? – 3/5 Hoots – Good, but too short! If you want a quick mystery, this is a good pick!

Sherlock Holmes - The Lions Mane
Mr McPherson shook his head, squeezed his hands into tight fists and, using the last of strength, said: The lions mane. Retired now and living in Sussex, Holmes life should be perfectly peaceful. But when a local teacher drops dead in front of him, Holmes is thrown back into the world of dangerous detective work. With multiple suspects, mysterious wounds and no Watson around to help him, Holmes is going to be pushed to his limits to solve this strange case.
