📚 Hoot Factor – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This book was smashing! I loved learning about the Saxons in such a funny and exciting way. Terry Deary makes history feel like a big adventure with all the gross facts, wild stories, and weird traditions. It was hard to stop reading because I wanted to know what horrible thing would happen next! 🎨 Owl-some Illustrations – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The pictures are hilarious! They match the silly and strange facts perfectly and made me laugh a lot. They also helped me imagine what life might have been like back then (and I’m glad I didn’t live in Saxon times!). 💡 Little Owl’s Takeaway – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Saxons weren’t just warriors with funny hairstyles, they had their own laws, punishments, and way of life. I liked that the book didn’t just talk about kings and battles but also about everyday people. 💬 Hoot or Boot? – 5/5 Hoots – Total Hoot! If you love history and don’t mind a bit of blood, guts, and giggles, this book is for you. It's one of my favourite Horrible Histories so far!
