Hootworthy or not?
🦉 Owl Be Reading Review: Cosmic – It’s One Giant Leap for All Boy-Kind by Frank Cottrell Boyce 📚 Hoot Factor – ⭐⭐⭐⭐ This book was funny, clever, and totally unexpected! I loved the idea of a boy accidentally ending up in space because he looked like a grown-up. Liam was such a brilliant character—kind, curious, and just trying to figure things out. It made me laugh a lot but also made me think about growing up and what it means to be responsible. 🎨 Owl-some Illustrations – ⭐⭐⭐⭐ There weren’t many pictures, but the story was written in such a fun and imaginative way that I could see everything in my mind. 💡 Little Owl’s Takeaway – ⭐⭐⭐⭐ You don’t have to be an adult to be brave, and sometimes imagination can take you further than a spaceship. 💬 Hoot or Boot? – 8/10 Hoots – Intergalactic Hoot! A wild and thoughtful adventure, funny and full of heart.

Book details
It's one giant leap for all boy-kind in Frank Cottrell Boyce's out-of-this-world story: Cosmic. Liam is too big for his boots. And his football strip. And his school blazer. But being super-sized height-wise has its advantages: he's the only eleven-year-old to ever ride the G-force-defying Cosmic rollercoaster - or to be offered the chance to drive a Porsche. Long-legged Liam makes a giant leap for boy-kind by competing with a group of adults for the chance to go into space. Is Liam the best boy for the job? Sometimes being big isn't all about being a grown-up. This edition of Cosmic includes bonus material and discussion questions from Frank Cottrell Boyce, and illustrations by Steven Lenton.
